Friday night Nicole and I participated in the Engaged Bridal and Women's Expo in Belleville, Ontario.  It was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed meeting many young women, sharing our goodies, and having a glimpse of the infamous Randy Fenoli!

I didn't want to make my regular mini-cupcakes as tasters (although we did have some) so I went in a different direction this time:


I hand-painted these tiny cherry blossom cookies (with food colouring of course).  They were 1.5" in diameter.  As always my cookies are butter-cinnamon, flooded with royal icing.  They were a hit!


And, in little shot glasses, we had layers of cake and icing, and some forks to eat them with - flavours were red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream!  Someday I may show you how I got the cake in there!
