The story behind this cake: A mom called me a few weeks ago and told me the only thing her daughter asked for was a fondant cake similar to one she'd picked online. While the mother was wracking her brain trying to figure out where to order it, her husband pulled out my business card! He had taken it from a business noticeboard in hopes of getting a cake made for her. Unfortunately his surprise was ruined for his wife but his daughter's birthday was a success!
Here is what the mother wrote to me later on:
"Just a note to let you know that the cake was the hit of the party!! You recreated it absolutely perfectly, and Erica was overwhelmed that it was actually sitting in front of her! The cake inside was also as scrumptious as the outside looked! Thanks for sharing your talent with us - a definite recommendation!"
